Going home!

When the shelling began, Ludmila moved to a safer city. As the months went by, she was lonely for her home and her city only to find her windows were gone from shelling. She had to stay with her friends. Now, thanks to Ukrainian Children Inc and Insulate Ukraine’s window insulation, Ludmila was able to go home.

Time Stood Still!

It was Lubov‘s birthday when shells came. She invited her friends and family. They all were siting at home when the first shell hit the building next to theirs, and they all ran into the basement. Two minutes later, the second shell hit Ludbov’s house and destroyed almost all of the windows. She said that time stood still. She didn’t know how long they were in the basement. They were so scared.

Please help us keep families warm in Ukraine. We need funding to help keep this project going. As little as $15 can replace a window.

The need is big, but small donations will make a difference!

Larissa was in the hospital with a heart attack when the shell hit her apartment and destroyed all of her windows. She said it is bad that I had a heart attack and was in the hospital, but maybe this is the reason which saved my life.

Refugee family shares their story

Forced to leave their home for a dacha, or cabin, this family shares their story. Ukrainian Children Inc installed a wood-burning stove for them with the hope that it will keep them warm.

The gift of a Wood Stove to a Ukrainian family can be a gift for the person who has everything. Their name can be engraved on the front of the stove. It can be a memorial or a club name. We will send a gift letter you can include and later, we will try to send photos/videos of the family who received it.

When the shelling started in Nikopol, Mycolay moved out, but he said that it was too hard for him to live in a different city so he decided to come back. A month after he came home, the city was being shelled. He was in the kitchen, cooking dinner and bent over to pick something off the floor when a piece of metal flew over his head.  He said that it was a terrible experience. When we finished the window insulation in his apartment, he was very grateful.
