Putin marked America’s Independence Day with 550 drones and missiles launched at Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
The terror lasted seven hours, causing significant damage and at least one death. The assault came just hours after a phone call between Presidents Putin and Trump. The air became so toxic that children had to be evacuated from the city.

This may well foreshadow the future for Europe and even the United States, as Putin works to reverse the American-led world order.

Please share this message with your family and friends. Then, call or email your representative and both senators to express your strong support for Ukraine. Ask them to:

  1. Reestablish military aid to Ukraine and provide air defense
  2. Support House Resolution 2548
  3. Support the Sanctioning Russia Act, introduced in the Senate by Senators Richard Blumenthal and Lindsey Graham

This Senate bill proposes a 500% tariff on goods and services from any country that knowingly trades in Russian gas, oil, natural gas, uranium, or other petrochemicals originating from Russia.

About 84 senators have already cosponsored the bill, enough to override a presidential veto.

  • If your senator is among them, please call to say thank you
  • Also, check whether your House representative has cosponsored the parallel bill in the House

Find your representative here: https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member.

You can use the following one-minute script: “My name is______________.  I am your constituent from_________ (city/town), zipcode_________.

It is very important to me that the United States continues to support Ukraine. Ukraine needs the weapons and control of its airspace to defend its sovereign borders, as America and the United Kingdom assured it in the Budapest Memorandum of 1994.  If you have cosponsored the Sanctioning Russia Act (in the House of Representatives, it is HR 2548), thank you, and please make sure it passes the floor vote. If you have not, please do so today. U.S. support for Ukraine benefits not only Ukraine but also contributes to American national security. Thank you. “

Thank you!

Slava Ukraini!
