This is Vera, she’s from Nikopol. She’s a single mom, because of war she lost her job and her heating system was cut off, because she couldn’t pay bills. Since the beginning of the winter day it was very cold in their house.
Thousands of windows in Nikopol are either gone or replaced with plywood, making cold and dark temporary solutions. That’s where a group of Cambridge University graduates comes in. They have come up with a method that will only cost $15 per window and rival
